My wife and I have owned a small single story 3 bedroom, one bathroom “cottage” in Northmead for over 30 years , and with my daughter and (growing) young family still living with us we finally accepted the fact that we needed more space. I didn’t need to look too far. We know so many people in our area and Anthony’s name ( of John R Dean Constructions ) kept cropping up with nothing but positives from all our friends, who had either built with Anthony themselves or knew second hand. After maybe the fifteenth time of being told “ mate, you’re an idiot if you don’t just go get him to do your build” .... I did. I already had a fair idea of what it would cost to add a second storey, this is not my first major or minor construction project/renovation . Long story short, all it took was an initial meeting with Anthony, and we all know a true blue honest bloke when we see one, right ? I had to wait I think a year for the start of the build as I was , understandably in a queue of builds. Positives: He recommended a designer/draught person : Suzanne Wilson, of Suzanne Wilson drafting services. I usually have to convince (even) architects that they are “wrong” about certain things IMHO. I

Anthony and his team transformed our house from old/outdated in desperate need of TLC to a magnificent, comfortable, practical forever home for our family. I cannot speak more highly of Anthony and his team, they are passionate, dedicated, honest, reliable, great communicators and hard working. I am so grateful to have chosen such a great builder to transform our house! Thank you John R Dean and team!

John R Dean Constructions is highly recommended by myself and my husband. We have worked with Anthony and his team on our house renovations and extension. Anthony is the ultimate professional - he is so easy to collaborate with, and made the whole process as stress free as possible with his practicality, flexibility, knowledge, experience, and his calm friendly nature. His team are also fantastic - all professional, friendly and courteous. The build quality and attention to detail is of the highest standard. They actually made renovating an enjoyable process! Would definitely work with John R Dean Constructions again, and recommend to anyone.

Anthony and his team were fantastic with the work done on our house. We can highly recommend John R Dean Constructions. Given my wife and I were so busy with our work, Anthony helped us with through the entire stage of the construction process. He was diligent, dependable and we are very happy with the finished project. I found his manner very trustworthy and we are not surprised that his team have gone on to higher honors with the HIA awards last year. We will definitely use John R Dean constructions with our next home project.

Anthony has created our dream house with extraordinary patience and the highest standards of professional expertise. My partner and I, met with many builders, highly recomended by friends, before deciding to proceed with Anthony. We often said that this was the best decision we made. We met Anthony at the Home Show. From the first contact, we experienced Anthony to be an excellent communicator. He impressed us with his professional expertise and attention to detail. We are so happy that we trusted our gut feeling to proceed with him and we could never imagine a better builder. Through out the building process, he exhibited unimaginable patience and always went about building our home as if it was his own. Highly recomended.
