Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. If you have dietary needs, most kitchens will adapt a dish if you ask. Licensed venues serve alcohol; BYO places let you bring a bottle for a small corkage fee. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Chatswood is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Chatswood follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Probably one of the best Japanese restaurants in Sydney. Sashimi was fresh and authentic, the udon noodles were chewy and the agedashi tofu was really delicious. Highly recommend for family dinners, nice environment and kid friendly too. Will come again.

Was hesitated to come here as I saw a review an hour ago about how bad the sushi was before I came. My friend and I decided to come regardless. We were seated pretty quick once we got there. The atmosphere was great with bright lighting. I was surprised at how big the room could get when the server ushered us to the inside of the restaurant. My friend was craving pork katsu hence we got ourselves one kurobuta pork katsu for sharing. We also ordered eggplants for entree and salmon and avocado sushi rolls. The pork katsu didn’t disappoint as it was fried to our liking, meat was juicy and delicious, didn’t smell at all. Though the rice that came with it wasn’t cooked well, like the other reviewer said, it’s mushy and didn’t have the texture of sushi rice. The eggplants were too salty to my liking, but were not too bad. The sushi rolls were very average, and as the other reviewer mentioned the sushi rice were mushy and couldn’t hold the sushi together properly. Overall it wasn’t a bad dining experience. I think it was because of my friend’s companion. Food quality wise could be improved.

Amazing food and vibe! The staff were very polite and the atmosphere of the restaurant, super inviting. The dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned - the favourites were sushi, sushi rolls, and tonkatsu. Their signature cocktails were also balanced in flavour and so delicious! We will definitely be back with more friends!
