Fun 4.2km on leash dog friendly trail loop. Some flat sections, some rocks to step up and down to. Took us ~1.5h with pauses to sniff and take in the views.

Great little hike and dog friendly. Tucked away in Parramatta this has fast become one of our favourite walks. There is also a cafe at the start/end of the loop that also does a great coffee.

Amazing place for a nice walk. It is pretty easy and it has stunning scenery. Dogs are allowed there which is good, but not in the human swimming area. If you want to take your dog for a swim, there is another entrance to the lake on the opposite side. I got some good photos, but sadly drones aren't allowed without a permit from the council.

Bring my dog here every few weeks for a lap of the lake, and if warm enough a swim as well. She loves climbing over all the rocks and tree roots and we both get some good exercise in a nice environment

First visit and absolutely loved it! Visited Lake Parramatta Reserve for the first time and it was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. It’s a perfect spot for a picnic with plenty of shaded areas and huts, so you can sit back and enjoy the day comfortably. The BBQ facilities are great, making it ideal for families and groups. The lake is stunning and offers a range of activities. You can go swimming in the designated area, try kayaking, or just enjoy the calm water views. There are also walking tracks all around for a peaceful nature walk. Really appreciated the facilities here. There’s a nice café for coffee and snacks, clean amenities, and about 68 parking spaces which makes it quite convenient. Overall, it’s a calm and refreshing place to unwind, right within the city. Perfect for a weekend escape or even a quiet day out. Highly recommend!
