We had reservation and easy to spot. Located near wharf and even over the weekend its quiet busy. They accommodated all the request we had. 4 stars is for the service, Ambience and location. Starters were good and even Naans were freshly made. But biriyani was below average. Food was below average for our liking.

Peshawari Lamb Boti ($31.9) & Basmati Chawal (rice) ($7.9): Lamb tastes amazing, fragrant and much different from Indian or Persian ones. Spicier than a medium Indian curry but less spicy than Taki fuego. Rice kinda reduces the spiciness but not by much. Shahi Kulfi ($12.9): Just like Indian kulfis but it’s one of the best kulfis I’ve ever had. Rose syrup and pistachio are really making it taste even better. It’s my first time trying Pakistani dishes while having been eating Indian food for years. Turned out a lot different than I expected but great experience and quite a challenge. Overall, helpful staff, delicious food, good-looking interior, 9 out of 10!

Lal Qila Darling Harbour in Sydney was a very good upscale halal dining experience. The restaurant has a nice premium feel, and the presentation and quality of the food were impressive. It felt like a proper sit-down halal dinner spot rather than just a casual meal. One thing that felt a bit awkward was that, for our party of five, we were told there would be limited eating time. I found that a little uncalled for, especially for a proper dinner setting, but fortunately we still had enough time to eat comfortably and enjoy the meal. We tried the chicken boti, beef haleem, chicken karahi, chicken biryani, and mango lassi. The chicken boti was delicious and full of flavor, while the beef haleem was also good and had a rich, comforting taste. The chicken karahi was tasty as well and went nicely with the rest of the meal. The chicken biryani was flavorful, but it was a bit too spicy for our taste. Thankfully, the mango lassi helped balance out the spice level. Overall, Lal Qila Darling Harbour was a good dinner experience with great halal options, strong food quality, and beautiful presentation. Despite the seating-time comment at the start, we still enjoyed the food and had a good
