Nice and cosy restaurant, and if you do snag a seat near the window the views don’t disappoint. We were told the menu changes regularly, and on this occasion the spotlight was on Native Australian ingredients incorporated into Indian dishes. Loved the concept and the execution was fine. The roo was cooked well, the vindaloo sauce missing heat for us. Lamb chops and chicken dish again sung with quality protein and cooking length, but the sauces and rubs felt lacklustre. It’s a lovely Indian, and if this was our local we would come again, but not a destination if you live outside the area.

A hidden gem with stunning harbour views, delicious food, and exceptional service. We enjoyed a beautiful walk through Wendy’s Secret Garden before lunch, making the whole experience even more special. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. We will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had such a lovely experience at Lavendra Indian Restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and relaxing, and the view is beautiful. The lighting is perfect too. Everything looks warm and cozy, and it’s great for taking photos. The food was amazing, honestly better than I expected. Everything was full of flavor and so delicious β€” like β€œflavor bursting in your mouth”! It was actually my first time trying this kind of food, so I didn’t know much and just followed my friend’s choices. But I’m so glad I did, because it turned out to be such a great experience. What made it even more special was the service. The staff and the manager were incredibly kind and friendly. They kept checking on us, asking if we liked the food or if we wanted anything more. Sometimes they even joked with us and made the whole experience more fun and comfortable. They also explained the dishes very well, which really helped me understand what I was eating. Overall, I would say this place is a success for me. It made me open my mind to new food, and now I really want to come back again. Highly recommend if you want good food, great service, and a beautiful place to enjoy your meal!

Honestly the most beautiful view a restaurant can have in my opinion (make sure you book the window seat ✨) the food is up market Indian with Japanese fusion due to the owner’s love for Japan! I loved their scallop starter and thought the butter chicken katsu was genius 🀀 They’re byo too which is so perfect when you want to enjoy good food but not spending $$$ on wine matching! Would highly recommend making a booking before visiting.
