We had such a wonderful dining experience at Luna Lu. The Asian fusion menu was exceptional β every dish was beautifully presented, packed with flavour, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can really tell a lot of thought has gone into every plate. The service was equally impressive β friendly, attentive and welcoming without being intrusive. What makes this place even more special is the unbeatable location. Dining with the iconic Sydney Opera House right in front of you is simply magical, especially on a beautiful day. If you're looking for delicious Asian fusion cuisine, outstanding service, and one of the best harbour views in Sydney, Luna Lu is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Luna Lu is a restaurant where both the atmosphere and the food are exceptional. Dining there with a stunning view of the Sydney Opera House right in front of you is such a wonderful experience. I especially loved the Sydney Rock Oysters. The red vinegar complemented them perfectly, bringing out their fresh and delicate flavour. I also enjoyed the golden Amber Prawn Dumplings, which were both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The MB9 Wagyu rump cap was incredibly tender and flavourful. I was pleasantly surprised that the black pepper sauce had a subtle sweetness to it, which made the dish even more delicious. My favourite was definitely the Opera House cake. Every component was delightful, from the white chocolate coating to the coconut sponge cake, chocolate mousse, berry compote, and the crispy acacia seed biscuit base. Every bite was a treat. The staff were warm, attentive and professional throughout the meal. The service, food and atmosphere here are simply outstanding. It was a wonderful dining experience, and I would happily come back again.

Visited Luna Lu for Vivid and my sisterβs birthday after seeing so many great reviews. The view was lovely, but the overall experience didnβt quite live up to expectations. The booking experience and service were average, and there was no one at the front to greet guests on arrival. The restaurant is very dark, making it difficult to take photos for a special occasion. We were also told off by staff for using a small ring light at our table, even though we were trying not to disturb other guests. Tables are also very close together, which made the experience feel less private. Food presentation was beautiful, but the quality didnβt match the appearance. The stir-fried beef was the standout dish, but most other dishes were underwhelming and the sashimi didnβt taste particularly fresh. Cocktails were decent. Overall, not a terrible experience, but not somewhere Iβd recommend for a special celebration unless youβre booking the one private balloon booth.

The atmosphere here was great during vivid. Outdoor heaters to counter the cold weather. Food was superb and the waiters and waitress were really attentative and helpful. The Opera house Dessert was really well made and full of different flavours that paired well

Celebrated my birthday here and the staff really made it feel special by surprising me with a dessert and sparkler. The atmosphere was fantastic with beautiful views of the Opera House, and the waiters were incredibly attentive and patient while our group took forever to decide what to order. The cocktail selection was impressive : unique, well balanced and delicious and every dish we tried was really tasty. The only downside was that with a large group, the bill added up quickly, but overall it was a great experience for a special occasion. I'd love to go back but it will be with a smaller group next time.
