Bad experience. today 17/6/26 The barber did not seem interested in understanding what I wanted and made very little effort to ask questions before cutting. When I told him something was still missing, he rushed through it with a poor attitude. The haircut ended up messy, uneven and not what I asked for. He also never showed me the final result properly before going straight to charge me. Overall, it felt rushed, careless and unprofessional. I would not recommend it.

had a very disappointing experience here today. As soon as I sat down, one of the barbers told me that my hair had salt in it and that he couldn’t cut it. He said I needed to wash it, but that he couldn’t help with that, so I had to leave. What I found most surprising was not the comment itself, but the complete lack of effort to find a solution or offer any alternative. In almost 30 years, this is the first time something like this has happened to me at a barbershop. Customer service is about problem-solving, and unfortunately, that was missing in this situation.

Decided to try this place on the recommendation of a friend. Thought I would have trouble finding a park but was lucky enough to snare one almost out front. Had a young Columbian lad (Julian) cut my hair and he did a great job. Fascinated to hear his story and the fact he really didn't speak any English when he arrived he 3 years ago. He certainly does now, with his fair share of "mate" being dropped into the conversation. His attention to detail with the cut was terrific. On finishing, they give you an aromatic spritz which gives the hair an amazing smell. Almost no wait time........what's not to like. Will be back.

I had a fantastic experience at M. Barber. It was my first time getting a haircut from a barber from Newcastle, and he was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. He took the time to really understand how I wanted my haircut, asked all the right questions, and made sure every detail was just right. The result was spot on, exactly how I wanted it. I really appreciated the care and dedication he put into his work — you can tell he genuinely wants his clients to leave happy. I’m very pleased and will definitely ask for him again next time. Highly recommended!

i arrived today to get my haircut and walked past 3 people on the bench outside (nothing was said the line forms here) I then took a seat on the inside bench seat that was 1/2 empty. I waiting as 2 others ahead for thier haircut and was called the the barber at the far end of the shop only tobe told by the barber near the front window the 3 people who had moved inside by now were ahead of me. I looked around when the barber at the far end said next and none of the 3 people stood up. On tbe way out obe of the people accused me of queue jumping. Very poor CX so after 14 years of loyalty i will now be looking for a new barber in Manly
