Stayed here as a cheap last resort on a lay over day before moving on, I would not willingly stay here again and was glad to move on quickly! I will say the staff were very friendly and greeted us well and they put on a lot of events for the guests but that is about the end of the good points. The reviews on hostel world gave it a 9.1 overall and I have no idea how this could be the case. The rooms are dire to say the least, no space, no privacy and no plugs by the beds! The showers were tiny and filled with bugs and there was 1 toilet on a floor with at least 30 people on it! All the amenities are in poor condition and seem too small or too few for the size of the place. There was only the shower cubicles or the toilet that were remotely private to get changed in but you have to be quick as people were queuing to use them. Additionally it seems most guests here are long term predominately male workers which isn’t a problem if everyone is in the same boat but it’s not so nice for travellers staying short term as they take up the already too few lockers and all the surrounding floor space as well with dirty work clothes, boots and there was even a giant speaker in the room I stay

I stayed here for a few weeks and it honestly made such a difference in my trip! The staff were all super nice and always happy to help or give recommendations or just have a chat and made me feel very welcome. It's a very family-like atmosphere making it feel just like a second home and you can easily meet the other travellers at the daily events. The facilities and common areas are cleaned everyday and kitchen is also very well equipped but can get busy around dinnertime:)

I’ve been here for over a month now and it’s been a fantastic experience! The hostel strikes the perfect balance between peace and quiet and socialising, fun and relaxation. The cleaning service is regular, so every corner of the hostel is always spotless. There are activities every day, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. A fantastic experience!
