Manly Food Co-op is a community-owned grocery store in Manly offering everything you need for your weekly shop, including fresh organic produce, pantry staples, organic foods, bulk wholefoods, refill products, household essentials and locally made goods.

Shop with reusable containers, reduce packaging waste and discover a more sustainable way to buy everyday groceries. As a not-for-profit, member-owned Co-op, every purchase supports a local community initiative that gives back.

Everyone is welcome to shop with us, you don't need to be a member. Members enjoy 10% off every shop, join for just $5 for an introductory 6-month membership.

Started shopping here about 2 years back and I love the shop attempting to create a circular system of reusing jars (glass only) and egg cartons and reducing the use of plastic to a HUGE extent. There is often free herbs (Curry and Bay leaves) and most of the produce is organic. It's RARE to have this lovely level of customer service when the closest comparison is the COLES next door.

It’s always such a joy coming into the co-op with my jars and stocking up on prana-rich foods and pantry supplies. The space is calm and inviting and it’s a beautiful way to slow down and make conscious choices. Grateful that this place exists!

I love the Manly Co-op. It is so good to have places like this, with great produce that comes straight from the farmers and lots of things we can buy per weight, avoiding waste and plastic packaging. I have been going there for many years. Very well located next to Coles, so you can go there first, support a great local businesses and then go to Coles after if you still need anything :)

Great find. I'm going to bring my containers back next week and do some shopping. I also like that money is going to locals rather than the big guys.

So tidy. Reused empty bottles were ready to use. Lots of spicy, granola and so on. Envy that they have this kind of store.
