My husband had an accident last Tuesday and was taken to Manly Hospital, the Reception staff and the Nursing Staff and Doctors were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the caring and respect they showed were beyond their normal duties. They rang and dept me updated on his condition and even one of the Doctors rang. He stayed overnight and they made a painful stay so pleasant. The surgical Registrar was fantastic. We are blessed to have such a wonderful caring medical staff and hope every one goes to the Northern Beaches Hospital. Many, many thanks to all. Warren and Gae Harding

Absolutely terrible service, no wonder they are closing, huge wait times are expected in A&E so the 5hrs + wait I cant complain about, what I can is the rudeness of the staff there, the bitterness, hostility when asking a question, talking about patients as if they aren't in the next room & can clearly hear, how abruptly an elderly patient was spoken too in front of other patients by the nurses in the back triage area, the lack of respect when asked so after 5hrs & a CT scan what happens next, if they dont want to work in the A&E then leave & move somewhere else, don't take the fact you hate your job on patients who are waiting hours to be seen with not even a vending machine to get a bottle of water from or a toilet close by because the one in the waiting room is out of order, show some respect!! Manly Hospital change your attitude, its appalling.

Came to Manly hospital with a persistent pain in my hip. The nurses and the doctors work with their utmost best to cater for everyone on a very busy day. They were very caring to all patients and despite some individuals were testing their patience they were calm and approach each situation with professionalism....... Hats off to you all at Manly Hospital....

My 90yo Mum had a fall on Sunday 11 Oct & was transferred by ambulance to Manly Hospital - X rays showed Mum's leg was broken. All the staff in the Emegency Dept were fantasitc - kind, efficient & helpful. Mum was admitted to the hospital that afternoon & the positive experiences with Manly Hospital staff continue - thank you!

I was delivered to hospital's emergency with a spinal injury by ambulance on 13/10/2014 and transferred to local rehab hospital on 15/10,2014. Everyone without an exception acted professionally, with kindness and a smile. I don't know if this was because they picked their proffessions correctly or because of their training or combination of both but they made my incredible pain tolerable and my stay positively memorable (not that I wish to return, of course!!!!)
