This was a moderately strenuous walk over a number of surfaces. Some of the climbs were stairs and some were stone. Most of the walk required a fair amount of athleticism. The pros: great cardio, few people, amazing views, lots of interesting plants and critters. Cons: not always super well marked and definitely slick in spots due to humidity and shade. Overall, definitely worth the time. If you decide to do one way only, you can take the bus back.

Very rewarding walk indeed! You can truly appreciate Sydney Harbour. There are several high-sitting scenic spots surrounded by beautiful bushland, different species of grevillea, rocky underpass etc. Just pack some water and a couple of snacks - and you’re all set for a one of a kind coastal walks

Did this walk in August after heavy rain and it was the most amazing experience. I think I past about 6 people on the entire walk, saw eagles, pelican, a bush turkey, kookaburras, frogs and lizards. Would recommend to absolutely everyone

The Spit Bridge walk at sunrise is absolutely stunning πŸŒ… Even though I’m not usually a sunrise person, this walk felt so peaceful and meditative β€” a real treat for the soul. The views along the water are beautiful, and it’s the perfect way to start the day. After the walk, we drove to Manly Beach for breakfast at Norma’s Deli πŸ₯ͺand wandered around the nearby market. We were back home by 11:00 am, feeling refreshed and happy. Such a lovely morning, I’ll definitely do this again and again!

Sunscreen, swimwear, a towel, and walking shoes with grip if you plan to explore.
