Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. If you have dietary needs, most kitchens will adapt a dish if you ask. Licensed venues serve alcohol; BYO places let you bring a bottle for a small corkage fee. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Marlo’s All Day at Blacktown Workers Club is a great spot for any time of day. The DIY self-serve dessert bar is a standout, with a wide variety of sauces and toppings, including a generous Nutella drip. There’s also a kids’ playground, which is perfect for letting the little ones burn off some energy before sitting down to eat. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you’re covered no matter when you visit. Some of our favourites included the Butcher’s Plate with sticky pork ribs and smoked sausage, the fish tacos packed with flavour, the kids burger for the little ones, and the refreshing watermelon slushie with popping bobas. It’s also great to see a dedicated seniors menu available. On top of the food and facilities, the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back for more.

Marlo’s All Day in Blacktown is a really solid spot. The self serve dessert bar is such a fun concept! Nutella on tap, gelato with plenty of toppings, cupcakes - perfect if you like sweets. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including bistro classics. My friends and I went for the grilled chicken, lamb souvlaki, and spanakopita, which were all perfectly seasoned and cooked. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you can tell they care about what they do. Coming from the team behind Vine & Grind and Wildflower Society, it’s easy to see why the food is good. Definitely worth dropping by for brunch or dessert. [invite]

Dessert is a must at Marlos All Day. Nutella on tap at the self-serve station? Yes, please! 😍 Lunch was amazing too creamy mushroom schnitzel and crispy pork belly with rice from their Asian fusion menu. Plus, the signature watermelon was refreshing. The staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for families. Highly recommend!

Visited Marlo’s All Day Bistro in Blacktown and was honestly impressed from the get-go. The space has that cozy, modern bistro feel — perfect for a casual brunch or laid-back lunch catch-up. I ordered the chilli prawn noodle salad, crispy pork belly, and beef brisket roast, and everything came out beautifully presented. The chilli prawn noodle salad was fresh and full of flavour — the prawns were juicy, and the dressing had a nice kick without being overpowering. The crispy pork belly lived up to its name with that perfect crunch on top and tender meat underneath. The beef brisket roast was also a standout, melt-in-your-mouth soft with a rich gravy that tied it all together. What really makes Marlo’s stand out though is their dessert bar — they’ve got a literal Nutella tap, soft serve machine, and a mix of fun toppings like brownies, marshmallows, strawberries, and crushed pistachios. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back just to build your own dessert combo. Overall, it’s such a great local spot with friendly staff, solid portions, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. If you want more honest reviews then be sure to fol
