Amazing food and service …try all the dishes …they are just phenomenal. Staff is great…so kind and nice. 4th time eating here and will come again.

I’ve been to Masala Theory multiple times now, both the Surry Hills and Bondi Beach locations and it never disappoints. Last night was another reminder of why I keep coming back. We arrived pretty close to closing time, but still had an amazing experience. The food, as always, was outstanding consistent, flavorful, and just hits the spot every time. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. As we were leaving, the owner came over to chat and asked about our experience. I mentioned how often I visit and how I usually order takeaway. Even though the kitchen had already closed, he insisted on getting us our favorite vada pav sliders to take home completely on the house. That kind of warmth and generosity is rare. The staff are always kind and accommodating, but this just took it to another level. It’s not just about great food here it’s the genuine care and hospitality that make it special. Highly recommend.

Tucked away at Bondi Hub, my fiancé and I had an exceptionally amazing dinner here last night. Thank you to the staff for the amazing service and our biggest thanks goes to the chef for the incredible culinary experience. As much as we enjoy home cooked meals, we always appreciate when love and care goes into meals when eating out. You can really feel the passion that goes into one’s cooking!! We are already planning to re-visit with friends. Thank you 🙏🏽✨

The appetizers were very innovative - good fusion índian good which is hard to find. In comparison, main course dishes are more typical Indian dishes but done very well. I thought the description of dishes could be better - for example the barramundi is pretty much a Kerala fish moilee type curry. The paneer fenugreek dish is also pretty much paneer tikka masala. Service was very good - I asked for extra lemon wedges for the fish curry since I like it sour and they were happy to oblige.

Masala Theory never disappoints! We tried the Bondi location for the first time and were blown away by the taste, presentation and service! The Indian green curry and entrees (especially Thecha Paneer Tikka and bang-bang gobhi) were amazing, and the mocktails were top-notch. Loved the quirky decor and upbeat vibe..it literally felt like a mini trip to India. Highly recommend!
