Went to purchase a Japanese hotpot soup base that was labelled to be $4.99. I noticed that the expiry date of the item is Feb - Apr which explain the discount comparing to other grocer in the area. However, the cashier attempted to charge me $6.90. I told her the item was $4.99 so she eventually corrected the price she immediately took down all the price labels....

They are slightly more expensive compared to other Asian grocery shops in the same suburb.

I have been shopping here for some exotic Asian groceries. I donβt mind paying a bit more, since one doesnβt usually get them from other similar stores in Chatswood. However, ever since the pandemic, I start noticing they are selling stocks with short expiry periods or no manufacturing dates. So pls be mindful & always check the expiry dates before purchasing.

Be careful this branch! They will sneak a bottle of 500ml Natureβs care hand sanitizer into your bag without you realising. then charged you $13 for it without giving you a receipt. Always check your bag and ask for receipt. Very dodgy!

Yummy goodies. Good frozen dumplings. Good lollies. This is a miracle! This Shop is a compulsory stop for our Asian groceries. Lots of sauces and condiments.
