Exceptional customer service from Matt at Mr. Minit. He genuinely went above and beyond. I had quite a large order of pens that needed to be engraved, and they were a very specific type. A number of other places I contacted beforehand said they didn’t have the stock and weren’t able (or willing) to order them in. Matt, however, didn’t hesitate for a second. He simply asked what I needed and took care of organising everything. From the start, communication was excellent. He understood exactly what I was after, which made the whole process really easy. He also kept me updated on the progress of the order, which I really appreciated given it was a larger request. The finished result was perfect and exactly what I had hoped for. It’s rare to come across service that is this helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Tip for finding the location (as it can be a little tricky): If you search for this Mr. Minit on Google, it will take you to Pavilion on George (580 George Street). You may be able to access it through that building, but I found the easiest way is to simply walk south along George Street. Walk past Hero Sushi (which will be on your left). I came in for a battery and gasket replacement and paid for both, but unfortunately left without either actually being secured properly. Shortly after, the battery hatch came off and is now missing. I’ve since discovered the battery hatch is near-impossible to replace leaving my watch unusable! What’s most disappointing is being told that because I left the store with the watch, there’s nothing that can be done. I would have expected a bit more accountability and care with something so straightforward. Absolutely shocking

Horrible experience - ruined my newly bought wallet Stepped in and asked the guy beforehand if putting an eyelet on my leather wallet was possible or not. Only when he confirmed he can do it did I discussed how I wanted it to be proceed and hand it in. 10 minutes later he came out, keep saying "eyelets always do this" and "complain" with me about his field of expertise. I was left flabbergasted and in disbelief! Why the need to keep telling me about his trials as if I can do something about it (?). If you know "eyelet ALWAYS do it" then why said you can do the job if you don't know how to handle it? The new wallet now has a big, teared up hole, bits of glue every here and there, an extra patch of ugly PU leather, and a poorly inserted eyelet. Also gave him a second chance, only to have an even messier wallet returned ☺️ Finally, all I received is "there's nothing I can do about it, call the head office". Great way to use my time.. First and probably the last time I'll take my items to Mr Mint. Edit: just saw how everyone mentioned James. This was not done by him, if that helps

Thankyou for the best work on my items & the excellent service I have received during the year. From watch batteries to shoe repair, no job was too difficult or too small. I can now continue using my repaired handbag & watch band a bit longer before needing to replace them. Thankyou
