Not sure about other Muji stores, but in The Galeries Muji store , you'd better bring all sizes that you think may fit you. Otherwise, even your friend bringing you the right size while you still in the fitting room try the other cloths, the staff won't pass it to you, and you have to get out and queue again. Not so great in busy hours and long queue.

Muji is one of my favourite store to shop but it’s very disappointing me this time. Yesterday April 26 around 3 pm I was shopping there and I bought 4 pairs of socks. Items on sale, written there 3 for $15 and 1 for $5.95. I used self check register and I’ve been charged 3 for $15 which is correct but $19.95 for another extra 1 pair. Then I went to cashier to verify this matter but the girl who served me kept saying no you got 4 pairs so 3 pair on sale and you got 4 pairs so another one pair back to normal price which is $19.95 and that’s not what written on the sign so I just returned that one pair . Muji shouldn’t do this kind of thing to their customers . Very disappointed!!

Great store! Is a near perfect replica of the Muji stores in Japan. Prices are pretty reasonable on most products, particularly if you buy them on sale (or online! I noticed the hat I bought was $10 cheaper on the Muji Australia website; however shipping is $10.95 so- it would only be $0.95 shipping if I sent it to my house). They have a really great selection of storage/organising boxes, racks and drawers made from clear/opaque plastics, wood and cardboard. There's no design or branding on these products which makes them the perfect fit for any aesthetic. You can custom them to your liking or leave it all plain for a minimalistic vibe. I found the pen section to be very appealing. There's erasable markers available as well as refills for them at only $0.49! A wonderful price for any students or office workers who use their pens til dry. I attached a lot of photos to this review because I had a hard time not buying everything I saw. Hopefully I will come back to Sydney and buy a lot!

Simple, functional, quality products with Japanese aesthetic. Love their use of natural materials such as timber, bamboo and linen. Their products are moderately priced but well worth the money for the quality. This city store is generally well stocked and the staff are always helpful, even though they seem busy. One thing Muji has never done well is to cater for international sizing with their clothing generally available in the small and extra small and even their bed frames are slightly smaller than the Australian standard.
