Location is close to train station for a 2 minute walk. The hotel is on the main road so hard to avoid the noise of vehicles on the road. Some eateries nearby but unsure if they cater dietary requirements as I did not dine around there hotel. Does not have a kitchen to have breakfast as an option. Does have a bistro that opens for lunch and dinner - consider doing your research if you have any dietary requirements. The hotel smells of cigarette smoke all throughout the hotel and into the rooms as well which is not appealing. Bed sheets and bathroom not cleaned adequately. A used coffee mug was left for my stay. Room has a view looking into the courtyard and other balconies. Access into the hotel after the hotel is not staffed is through a side street. The fridge is not quiet and can really hear it overnight.

I booked this hotel because it seemed to have nice reviews and from pictures looked quite nice. On arrival, the staff was super helpful and friendly. Big credit to hotel management. The room was quite disappointing due to moist and moldy smell. The bathroom wall paint is completely falling of the walls and shower floor is covered in mould. I see that Nightcap staff replied 6 months ago that they fixed the bathroom, however it seems that the paint is falling off again. Addionally, the possibility to leave feedback on booking.com seems to be removed also.

We didn’t expect much given the price point, but we also didn’t expect paint to be peeling off the walls lol. There was also someone smoking weed in the room next to us which was coming through super strong the vents in the bathroom…and given we have a toddler and I’m pregnant it was kinda frustrating….you’d assume no smoking in the rooms is a given these days. I will say this tho, the location is convenient with the train station across the road, the beds are super soft, and the staff were friendly.
