About Norma's Deli
Norma serves something for any occasion and all times of the day. Think cakes so glossy you'll catch your reflection, sandwiches so jam-packed they toe the line between lunch and dinner and lemon tart cakes torched in front of your eyes.
Located at 74-78 The Corso, Manly NSW 2095, Norma's Deli operates as a butcher serving Manly in New South Wales. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Card and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere; some venues add a surcharge on weekends and public holidays.
Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. Hours in Australia do change around public holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is normasdeli.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 836 reviews, which is a strong result for a butcher in Manly and suggests consistent service.
Manly is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Getting around Manly is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy centres, and most suburban shops have their own car park. Public transport and ride-share apps such as Uber and DiDi operate across New South Wales's larger cities.

The best sandwiches in Sydney! Every-time I visit I’m amazed at the depth of flavour in each sandwich and the friendly and quick service despite the long lines. This time I visited I had the turkey pesto pistachio. By far the best sandwich I’ve had there and the mortadella was good of course!

Gorgeous Italian diner. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Such a variety of delicious food. Plentify paninis, pastries, soup, pizza, breads, baked goods. All of the staff were exceptional. Management were lovely and worked beautifully on the floor with their staff. The star of our visit was Jas! Jas was beyond lovely. She was fast and efficient and a pleasure to talk with.

Found Norma’s on Reddit and am SO glad we stopped here on our walk back to Manly Beach from Shelly Beach. They were near closing and everything was half off - and I think this pistachio mortadella was the best sandwich of my life. Perfectly fluffy/buttery focaccia with flavorful spicy deli meat, aioli, salty cheese. We also found the same croissants we ate at Rollers, which were INCREDIBLE. I’m in heaven!! We will be back one day!

NORMA’S DELI | MANLY, SYDNEY Step down into Norma’s on The Corso and you immediately wonder how you’ve walked past it. Ten trips to Manly and somehow this one slipped by. A genuinely baffling oversight. Consider this the correction. The Food: The visual display does the first bit of convincing. Cakes baked fresh each morning, pastries, a cabinet that stimulates every sense before you’ve even ordered. The focaccia sandwiches are my kinda thing! Light, generously filled and exactly what a good deli sandwich should be. A broad menu covers morning through to afternoon, all of it executed with evident care. The Experience: The building itself has great bones, great flow, and a rhythm to the room that makes it easy to settle in and stay longer than intended. The open kitchen signals a kitchen with nothing to hide, and the operational confidence shows. It’s the kind of place that feels like it’s been here forever and knows exactly what it’s doing. Other Notes: Opens at 8am daily, closes at 5pm or when sold out. Arrive early if you have your eye on something specific. Norma’s also does catering, grazing boxes and whole cakes, making it an excellent stop for group provisions. Highly r
