About Over the Rainbow Funerals Co.
Over The Rainbow Funerals Co. was established with a service-driven philosophy. We give our clients love, care, compassion and understanding when they are at their most vulnerable. We do this by providing families with affordable, beautiful funerals that commemorate their loved ones exactly as they want.
OTR is an independently-owned company that was created to give Sydney queer families choices. Choices on funeral venues, celebrants and how much to pay for a funeral. We don’t want the family to have regrets about the funeral or be burdened with debt afterwards.
Our strength is our transparent, attention to detail and caring approach that allows us to understand what families want and provide a beautiful celebration.

Scott and Nick from Over the Rainbow Funerals have gone above and beyond in helping us organise the funeral and celebration of life of our much loved friend Julian. I can’t thank the team enough for the support they have provided during this difficult and emotional time. They have helped in ensuring that everything was personalised as per Julian’s wishes and have just been there for us all the way. Thank you Scott and Nick for helping us remember and celebrate Julian. I will always be thankful for everything you have done for us. Danny

I highly recommend Over the Rainbow Funerals Co. Scott and Ben and the whole team were phenomenal in helping us to plan a beautiful service in the most difficult of circumstances. They went above and beyond, working with me day and night across timezones as I travelled, with extreme compassion and empathy. Ben was our celebrant and the way he held space for the complexity of the situation was exactly what was needed. Scott made arranging all the details, including expediting the ashes for transport, absolutely seamless and stress-free, right down to delivery to the hotel! This was not the first funeral I've unfortunately been involved in organising, and if I ever have to do it again I'd undoubtedly be using the team at Over the Rainbow.

Over the Rainbow Funerals were absolutely excellent to work with. I can not recommend Ben Gibson more highly. The care, diligence and attention to detail was exceptional, and their empathy and thoughtfulness a highly valued during a period of loss and sadness. Thank you Ben to you and the team at OTR.
