Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

The owners are so sweet and nice to talk to! You can tell they make great coffee as everytime I pass there are always many regulars ordering. Ignore the old reviews and focus on the recent ones which are all 5 stars.

Amazing food! We ordered through the uber eats app as they had a special for buy 1 get 1 free and oh my goodness. The breakfast burger was quite possibly the best I've ever had. The ingredients and flavours are great, and my iced oat latte was delicious also! Will definitely be ordering again! ♥️♥️♥️

Fantastic coffee with complimentary shortbread biscuits. Quick, friendly service and a great team, you can really feel the positive vibe. I always go back for the friendliness. The large outdoor area is perfect for sitting in the sun or shade.

There are at least six coffee shops between my front door and Page 2, but I find myself walking past all of them to get here. Located in the office block foyer on Forest Road, this spot is a true sanctuary in the middle of Hurstville. The owners, Sue and Shawn, are quite possibly the kindest people I’ve met in a long time. They work incredibly hard to keep this place running, and it shows in the quality. Sue makes a truly terrific coffee (the best in the area, hands down), and Shawn’s sandwiches are second to none. I’ve tried the big corporate chains nearby, but the personal touch and genuine warmth Sue and Shawn provide keep me coming back every time. If you’re in the ‘metropolis’ of Hurstville, do yourself a favor and skip the others—come here for a great brew and even better company. It's ground floor Hurstville Tower overlooking the community square where currently there's a lovely statue of a horse balancing on one hoof. Ha! Gong hey fat Choi!
