Attended 2 day summer holiday makeup work shop. Lisa was very enthusiastic and informative. She explained very well and taught us well, how to do the basic makeup. We loved her class and enjoyed thoroughly.

I am a student currently studying Certificate III in Beauty Services and I plan on continuing to Diploma. I joined PCC as at a young age I wanted to go into the beauty business to one day get a job as a beauty therapist, and I have learned so much about beauty from my lovely trainer Rebecca. I would recommend this beauty school if anyone was ever interested as they as so helpful.

I am currently studying the Certificate III in School-Based Education and Support at PCC, and my experience has been very positive. The course is well-structured and provides a clear understanding of how to support students and teachers in a school environment effectively. The trainers are knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help, which makes learning engaging and enjoyable. The practical tasks and simulated activities are especially useful, as they allow me to apply what I learn in real-life classroom situations. The online resources and study materials are easy to follow, and the assessments are clearly explained and relevant to the workplace. Overall, PCC provides strong academic and professional support. This course has helped me build confidence, improve my communication and organisational skills, and prepare for a meaningful career in education support. I am grateful for the guidance and encouragement I have received from my trainers, college admin members, and support staff throughout my studies.

I enrolled in the Child Protection course with Parramatta Community College and found it extremely disappointing. The workload was excessive and there were no helpful links or proper guidance provided. Compared to other providers, the lack of support was unacceptable. What made the experience worse is that they do not offer any form of reimbursement, which reflects poorly on their ethics and value for students. I have since completed the same course with another provider in just two days — smooth, efficient, and well supported. I do not recommend Parramatta Community College and will not be using them again.

The college claims to be "committed to upholding the highest standards in adult education", but my experience suggests otherwise. Basic administrative competency was lacking throughout my enrolment process. The Quality Assurance Manager consistently got my name wrong in email correspondence, using incorrect names throughout our exchanges. This attention to detail problem extended to other areas: promised course start dates shifted from "mid-August" to "early to mid-September" with minimal explanation. Most concerning was that clear requests in emails appeared to go unread or ignored, with responses that didn't address what was actually being asked. The overall impression was of a college more focused on enrolment numbers than student experience or educational quality.
