We swam in Bedlam Bay, Gladesville in high tide and very satisfying. My advice is come and swim if it is high tide.

The oval is hardly playable as the ball just doesn't travel with the thick grass cover.. It's almost like trying to get the ball moving on a sponge surface.. And the toilet there is hardly maintained. Only up side is the view of the river. Everything else, pretty disappointing!

A peaceful park , historical value with signage about the bldgs on site and the convict roads . A walk along the beaches gives you an idea of how the aboriginal inhabitants would have enjoyed the cover afforded by overhangs and abundant fishing. Well worth a visit.. Spot the Turkish bath and the "folly".
