We’ve driven past this cake shop on Victoria Road so many times but never had the chance to stop in. Last week we were visiting family nearby again, so we finally decided to check it out and I’m so glad we did! There’s a small car park right next to the shop (fits about 3–4 cars), which makes popping in really convenient. Inside, it honestly felt like a happy little “sweets world” 😍 There were cookies, baklavas, gelatos, gelato cakes, and cakes of all sizes. So many colours and options, it instantly lifted my mood. We picked up a tub of gelato with coconut, pistachio and mango. We haven’t had the full tub yet, but we tried a little at the shop and it was delicious, so I’m sure the rest will be great too. We’re already planning when we can come back for one of their gelato cakes. They look amazing, but they can only stay out of the freezer for about 20 minutes, and ours definitely doesn’t have the space right now 😅 Customer service was okay. The shop wasn’t busy (it was just the two of us), but the staff member seemed a bit rushed and not very smiley. Still, overall we’re really happy with this cake shop and will definitely return for their cakes and gelato cakes!

We had such a great experience at Patisserie La Galette! The cake we ordered was absolutely delicious and exceeded all of our expectations. Even though we placed our order quite late, the chef still made it work, which we really appreciated. The quality, taste, and presentation were all amazing. Thank you for going above and beyond, we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Patisserie La Galette!

I called to get a special cake made for a baby shower and the service was amazing. When I was organising to pick up the cake the owner even came in early to make sure I could still get a parking spot and really went out of her way to make the process as smooth as possible for me. Outstanding customer service and the cake was Divine .

Oh my god!! The taste of the pistacho gelato is to die for!!!!!!!! We also tried the fruit tart! I have no words... DELICIOUS! The custard was amazing, fruit was fresh and the pastry was buttery, flaky and crisp! I want to go back and now try everything!!!! Haha absolutely loved it!

Nice place with a good variety of sweets, but unfortunately the ones we tried didn’t feel fresh, and the flavours weren’t to our taste at all. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations.
