Review Very disappointing experience. I spoke with a lady named Carla on the phone, and unfortunately, she was extremely rude and unpleasant throughout the conversation. Rather than being helpful or professional, her attitude came across as dismissive and nasty. She eventually passed me on to someone else, which was probably for the best. Customer service should be respectful and professional, regardless of the situation. I definitely did not appreciate the way I was spoken to.

Dr Jan Rosado provided exceptional care for our very sick cat, and I couldn’t be more grateful. After four days of him being quite unwell, Dr Jan quickly assessed the situation, expertly administered the medications is injection, and sent us home with oral medication and clear instructions. The results were remarkable—within just 24 hours, our cat was back to 100% health and acting like his normal, happy self again. Dr Jan’s knowledge, skill, and calm, caring approach gave us so much confidence during a very stressful time. As a new veterinarian at the practice, he has already made an outstanding impression. I highly recommend Dr Jan to anyone looking for a compassionate and highly capable vet. Thank you so much for giving our beloved cat such wonderful care.

We visited Peakhurst Vet last Sunday for an urgent appointment and we were extremely impressed with the care and professionalism we received. The team was exceptionally accommodating, compassionate, and understanding. As guinea pig owners, we know how challenging it can be to find a veterinary clinic that is experienced and willing to treat small animals. We were grateful that the team was able to see our pet promptly and provide the attention and care needed. We highly recommend Peakhurst Vet to anyone who is after quality veterinary care.

We have had many pets over 25 years treated and cared for by Peakhurst Vet Clinic. With every visit and every issue Peakhurst Vet Clinic has provided an exceptional level of expertise and care every time. They genuinely care about achieving the best result for your pet and hold that as the priority. Their knowledge and insight (in our experience) far exceeds any other vet we have seen when out of Sydney. They are very well networked with specialist veterinarians and medical services like oncologist vets. They always ensured that we were directed to the correct specialists, whist keeping up to date with communication and progress but also ensuring they could assist where possible to help minimize any unnecessary specialist costs. We have since moved 50min away from this area but still choose to travel this distance every time due to their level of service, care and expertise. We cannot talk highly enough of this clinic and refer all friends to them. Thanks for providing such amazing service!

Disappointing Experience – Serious Concerns About Care Standards We left our dog at this facility for approximately four weeks, and unfortunately, our experience raised a number of serious concerns. If it hadn’t been for friends checking in on him, we would not have been aware of the condition he was in. When our friends visited, our dog had an untreated wound on his nose. It was upsetting to see him in this state. The wound was not addressed until we specifically asked. It was finally medicated the following day. This is not the level of care we expected or felt was acceptable for a place operated by a vet. Our dog was also visibly unclean — particularly around his backside, which was soiled and matted. We were also told that the facility typically does not wash animals, which may explain the lack of hygiene when he soiled himself. The staff intended to leave our dog in that state over the weekend. They managed to clean him after we raised our concerns multiple times. Is it acceptable to leave an animal in a soiled state for days? Given the duration of the stay and his condition, we had hoped for at least a basic level of cleanliness. He had lost nearly 1kg in weight during
