The resort is fine. But $10 for a coffee, with no sweetener, no stirrers and nowhere to put the rubbish? Hmmmm. Luckily, the backchat from the 20-something behind the counter was free. If I were Vail Resorts, having invested hundreds of millions in this place, I'd be thinking pretty hard about the basics. The climate is getting warmer and, today, one young staff member managed to give me a pretty good reason to ski somewhere else.

I was a bit hesitant to go skiing in Australia for fear of being disappointed, but despite it being a very slow start to the 2026 winter season, I was impressed with what was on offer. The Perisher 6 seater lift was my favourite. Nice comfy lift seats and a sufficiently challenging blue run all the way down. Will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic time at Perisher! Plan an early trip if you want to drive yourself, else plan bus or local drop as parking gets full by 10am and Alpine Way is closed for inbound traffic. It was so much fun and a great activity for the whole family. The experience was well organised, exciting, and surrounded by beautiful snowy scenery. Definitely a must-try if you’re visiting Perisher, we had a wonderful time and would happily do it again!

Brought the family up for a holiday at the start of the season. Had a great time despite the lack of snow, which has nothing to do with the Resort.. just mother nature doing its own thing. Did a private lesson with Dan who did an amazing job with us all having not skied before. We all picked up some skills and the youngest blew us away with how far they developed over the 3 days of skiing. Also big shout out to Trevor for the chat and recommendations for things to try!

Fantastic ski resort with great terrain for all skill levels, well-maintained facilities, and stunning mountain views. Friendly staff and plenty of runs to explore. Had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!
