Established in 2007, PetO is a family owned and operated business. Our Northmead store opened in 2020 to make shopping for your furry friends convenient, informative and fun, and we love it when you bring them along with you.
As Australia's largest dog & cat store, we have a fantastic range of brands and products to choose from. We support many Sydney based animal charities and believe in 'think adoption first', so we don't sell live animals.

Although the store name is questionable the store itself and the dog wash facilities are great. Convenient and easy to use. The store would probably do even better if they hired out canine towels and dog brushes. Pet owners sometimes forget these things, so it would be a missed opportunity.

The staff at PetO Northmead are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Especially the manager Tami who is always so kind and helpful. They always make my dogs feel so welcomed with lots of pats and treats. The store is always so tidy and clean and they have such a great range in food, treats and toys. Although they aren't our local petstore the staff make it worth it to come back for a visit.

Some of the best customer service. I was greeted by the staff, helped with finding the product I was after, and at the cashier the young lady spent some time understanding my pet and then offered me a free kitten pack. Thank you.

The manager Tammy is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Every questions has been answered correctly. The store is spotless! Always so confident to let my dog run around and lay down as it’s always clean. Always happy to shop at Pet O NORTHMEAD
