About Piato Restaurant
A restaurant which is inspired by Mediterranean food and atmosphere. Housing 3 function rooms it makes us a versatile North Sydney function venue. Great for corporate catering in North Sydney, birthdays, christenings, engagements and intimate weddings. Open for coffee from 6am until 9pm, 7 days, we are one of the few places where a coffee can be enjoyed at all times of the day. Our street side alfresco dining, together with our Mediterranean life and food help to transport you to a place afar. Piato also offers a complete takeaway menu for you to enjoy at home, in the office or on the go. Christmas time is always a highlight so it is best to book early during this period. It’s my local for both work and social, but it’s an absolute stand-out for an event. As anticipated, my recent ‘milestone’ birthday celebration was amazing, with so many of my guests commenting on the food especially. The team there really know how to look after you and make it all happen with ease. Thank you guys, as always xx

Fantastic delicious authentic Greek food. We had Greek salad with slow cooked lamb, chicken souvlaki, fig gelato and perfectly made Greek coffee.

I’ve been here before and had a good experience, which is why this visit was quite disappointing. The food quality does not seem to be the same as it used to be. The lamb pasta took a very long time to be served, the portion was small, and it was extremely salty. Some of the pasta was undercooked and stuck together. The seafood risoni had a different issue — it was very bland overall. Possibly because the lamb pasta was overly salty, the contrast was quite obvious. The risoni came out in clumps and was not fully cooked. I believe the kitchen, especially whoever is responsible for the pasta dishes, may need further training or better quality control. I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve and return to its previous standard.

Love the atmosphere here! The dinner menu is much better than the breakfast menu (but that's just me). The pastas were really really good! Really flavorful! The staff here are so friendly and welcoming and the inside seating is so cosy. Love the plant decor. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic lunch at Piato restaurant! The seafood pasta and ravioli we ordered were both absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and fresh, and the portions were generous. But what really made our meal stand out was the exceptional service - our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Piato for a great lunch spot in Sydney. We'll definitely be back!
