I booked a one-hour private lesson with Kevin after reading his positive reviews and noting that he is a native English speaker. He suggested meeting at the Glebe Public Library, which turned out to be a poor choice for a private IELTS session, we were interrupted twice and it felt like we were disrupting the quiet study environment. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the lesson overall. Kevin seemed to lack the necessary resources to provide a structured and productive IELTS class. At the end of the session, he mentioned that his expertise is mainly in the writing component and advised me to contact his friend for help with the reading and speaking parts. I found this suggestion unprofessional, as I was looking for a comprehensive tutor and not looking to hire two different people. I paid $100 AUD for the session, but sadly, it did not feel like a valuable investment for me.

I followed Kevin's teaching advice to improve my score, mainly for the writing part of the IELTS. Through practice exercises, we identified my weaknesses and corrected them, one by one. I finally got 7 in that band which was critical to my visa application. Kevin is available, patient, diligent and of great advice. I do recommend his classes.

I have recently sat for IELTS English Test and had a few failed attempts in the past. I realised I needed help from an experienced tutor and I found Kevin. Kevin is a great IELTS tutor. After only approximately 6 hours of intensive tutoring, I got the scores I needed (L 7.5, R 8.5, W 7, S 7.5) in my first attempt after the lessons I had with Kevin. Kevin also gave me many useful tips on how to improve my writing and speaking. I would strongly recommend IELTS test takers to contact Kevin to help boost your scores in IELTS English Test.

My name is Dorothy, I just passed my IELTS (7.5,7,7.5,7 ). I am writing this review to thank Kevin for his help with my IELTS exam. Before attending Kevin's tutorials, I had several attempts in IELTS and always got 6 or 6.5 in the writing section and I was very disappointed with my result. Kevin is professional in IELTS and has lots of experience in tutoring IELTS. In the first class, he easily pointed out my weak point in writing and taught me how to respond to the question and avoided losing marks. The most interesting part of Kevin's class was brainstorming. It enabled me to come up with ideas of different essay topics. I only had 10 classes with Kevin and I got it. Thank you very much for your help and patience, Kevin. Kevin is a great and passionate tutor with lots of experience in IELTS tutoring. He finds the weak points of the students within the first session and focuses on those in order to achieve a higher score in IELTS. I had 5 sessions with Kevin to obtain a 7 in my writing in order to be able to apply for my Permanent Residency. I acknowledge that Kevin has been a life changing tutor for me. I really appreciate his help and I strongly recommend him to everyone who needs help to increase their mark in IELTS. I signed up for an IELTS test after my tutorials with Kevin and I received the marks I needed. I got 8.5 in Reading, 7 in Writing, 7.5 in speaking and Listening.
