I am very disappointed with my experience applying through Randstad for a position at Amazon Kemps Creek. I am an Australian citizen with more than 5 years of warehouse experience. I hold a forklift licence and have experience in voice picking,etc at warehouse duties. Despite this, I have applied for Amazon positions through Randstad more than three times and have never been successful. Most of my previous applications ended without any phone call or email or clear explanation. Recently, I applied again and progressed much further through the recruitment process. I was asked to provide detailed personal information, including my tax file number and superannuation details. I also received a phone call from Mr Pradeep.K and was instructed to attend a health assessment in Parramatta. I attended the appointment with Mrs Aysha Chowdury completed the required checks, including height, weight, hand pressure testing. And during interview with her, she was underestimated myself. and I done a police clearance, which I passed. I was then advised that I should wait approximately 2–3 weeks for an induction date. I had a really disappointing experience with Randstad Parramatta. I contacted them multiple times regarding my job application, attended the interview call, and even visited the office in person. It has now been over two weeks, and I still haven’t received any proper response. Every time I follow up, I’m just told that there are currently no job opportunities. If that’s the case, then why was I interviewed in the first place? It feels extremely unprofessional and misleading. This kind of behavior seriously affects a person’s mental health. Reaching out again and again, waiting for updates, and being ignored is frustrating and stressful. It honestly feels like candidates are being harassed and not respected. I expected much better communication and transparency from a recruitment agency.
