I went to Red Bottle again because of a very positive prior experience. We live in the United States, and my wife really enjoys Australian wines. I was in Sydney on a business trip and brought a wine shipping box with me so I could take a case (12 bottles) of wine back in my checked baggage. I visited Red Bottle on two different days, and asked for recommendations on dry red and white wines that typically not available in the US. Both of the people I worked with took the time to help me select wines that met my purchase criteria and did not rush me through making selections. My wife is very happy with what I brought home, and all 12 bottles made it home intact. If I have an opportunity to visit Sydney again, and need to purchase wine, Red Bottle will be first on my list to make a purchase.

Open late(midnite most nites!)! Most bottle shops closer to Circular Quay close by 9! Knowledgeable staff! Great selection!

Some of the best customer service of all time, and I have been to 40+ countries. The owner (I should have asked him name) is great, kind, and thoughtful. The employee with longer hair and glasses (should have asked his name too) was the the nicest employee I ever met. Welcoming, happy, and genuinely real. If only we had service like this in the USA. Thanks so much. Rock on Red Bottle.

Great store for purchasing late night alcohol in the CBD when most if not all the other takeaway bottle os are closed. Prices aren't too expensive either. Would reccomend stopping by before liquor laws close take away alcohol and stashing it in a bush if needed, if you plan on having a good night in the city. Or pay $30 a cocktail. Choice is yours
