I spent 10 days in the serious burns unit after burning my left foot, staff in here were amazing, nurses were super communicative and spoke to me not at me. All were amazingly professional at all times and are a credit to thier profession, the whole team showed team work and the sort of attitude that is a cultured and fostered from within. The doctors were great and also displayed great senses of humour when appropriate. I have since being visiting the burns outpatient unit twice a week and again just amazing to deal with. Thank you all and keep up the good work.

Royal North Shore Hospital is the best hospital I have ever experienced. I honestly cannot thank the whole Spinal Ward & Physiotherapy team + Social Worker Helen enough for everything they have done for my husband and I 🫢🏼 Every single member of the teams treated us with kindness, compassion, and genuine care. The support, encouragement, and positivity they brought every day made such a difficult time easier to get through. The physiotherapists are absolutely incredible. Their dedication, patience, and constant motivation to my husband gave us hope on the hard days. Thankyou for motivating him to believe in himself and push ❀️ The entire spinal ward has such a beautiful energy. The staff environment feels warm, welcoming, and supportive, and that is something we will never forget! Their smiles, kindness, humour, and positive vibes brightened our days more than they probably realise. Even though we’re grateful to be moving forward, we genuinely miss the team and the wonderful atmosphere they created. The people on that ward will always hold a special place in our hearts! And I’m sad that I didn’t get a chance to say bye or thank any of you so I’ll write this review❀️ Thankyou

This modern large hospital is a premier facility in NSW and probably Australia. The new premises were occupied about 10 years ago and is strategically located at St Leonards. It's accessible by train, taxi and has several access routes, each having their own council parking area. In addition Wilson parking manages the parking at the hospital at 3 locations with P2 being the nearest to the main hospital. The multi storey main building houses the out patients clinics, intensive care, accident and emergency, and general wards. There are several lifts in the building and identifiable by distinct colour coding, which is helpful for visitors and patients. At the front, there is a reception that guides visitors to the right places. There are plenty of food outlets at the main access area giving plenty of choice for staff, visitors and patients. Parking is not cheap especially at Wilson parking, the council car parking area are much cheaper but restricted to 4 hours. For families of patients, special parking rates are available from Wilson parking for 1, 3, 7 days.
