I recently visited with a work colleague who raves about this place, Royal Oak you didn’t disappoint! Your steak was 10/10! The duck spring rolls need to be a main dish. The servings were generous, service was great and a very clean and tidy pub. I will be bringing my family back. Cheers for a great experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Top notch.

Had a Thursday pub lunch was good and food fresh and tasty, clean toilets. Arrived from city by Parramatta River Ferry great way to visit the city and easy walk to Parramatta square and train back to my hotel in Cronulla. Lovely day trip.

I live only five minutes away from this pub and go there occasionally for lunch. Generally the food is excellent. Although the last time I had steak it was so salty that I found it almost inedible. My other issue is that they changed their menu a few weeks ago, which I was not aware of because they haven’t bothered to reflect those changes on their website which still has the old menu up there. They need to really get their act together to make sure that customers are fully aware of a new menu. There is a particular dish that I really liked there is no longer on the new menu for example which is there once delicious fettuccine Boscoula. However the staff is lovely and I highly recommend their Sunday roast if that is still on the menu but I need to change the way they make their mistakes and they certainly need to update their website if they want to publish a new menu.

Felt like a nice pub grub on a glorious sunny Sunday afternoon and found Royal Oak Hotel in Parramatta just off Church St towards north Parramatta. Didn’t even know it existed but it was nice and new and had a big menu with lots of variety. We ordered the homemade chicken pie, which was a little bit salty for my liking, but came out steaming hot and some decent chunks of chicken and mushroom inside. The Angus burger was the other dish and that wasn’t too bad either, probably a bit too well done for our liking, but fries were crispy and hot. They also do Sunday roast, but it was lamb the day we visited and we’re not a fan, so I’ll have to visit another time to try their roast.
