My daughter was admitted here recently in the pediatric ward and I was really thankful for the amazing care and service. The nurses and doctors were kind, helpful and supportive. They made sure that our little baby was taken care of really well. Especially I appreciate the nursing staff who were available around the clock. Thank you so much.

3 days after what happened to me, I have some time to write and reflect. I was transfered to RPAH from Concord Hospital, the friendliness and care is from the paramedic team with two lovely and caring girls trying the calm me and check whether I need pain killers during the transfer. The RPAH ED welcome me because I had serious abdominal pain and look unwell and transfer from Concord Hospital and no pain killers worked for me at that time. Despite my English, they tried to explain that I need to have an urgent surgery but I concern about the expense and cost however no one can givr the answer due to that time was after hour, the finance team cannot be reached. Because it's urgent to save my left ovalry, I decided to do it anyways at any cost at midnight. Fortunately after a good sleep, I woke up and received good news. The operation was successful. There is no more pain for me after that. I can get up the next morning having breakfast, lunch and I got discharge after lunch. I couldn't imagine that I as the same person yesterday with the same outfit that admited the hospital at midnight and the next day in the afternoon I could walk out of the hospital, cross the road and wait

A very interesting hospital. Some parts are really old...victorian times. Some parts are new, modern or still being built. There is a coffee shop and there are plenty of lifts. Handy as the place around 8 floors

My girlfriend fainted 4 times in a short span of time and had to take the ambulance to the nearest hospital being this one. We have been waiting for 8 hours and still on going to speak to a Doctor that has the results. The staff keeps saying that we are the next patients with one or two people in front of us every time. But clearly this is not the case as they keep putting others in front despite them having just entered the building and having a lower priority apparently. This system sucks pretty bad especially because most of the time their doctors are just chatting and not actually having patients. As of now the wait still continues with no clear indicator of when the Doctor would see us. All the triage nurses have been giving us conflicting information which is extremely frustrating as well.

This review is from two perspectives, the family of a patient and as someone interested in places. My mother came here as a patient. She is 94, has fractured bones in her hand from a fall, and dementia. Honestly, they are feeding her really well and looking after her brilliantly. Very happy. My photos below are more from the perspective of someone who likes old buildings. The main entrance is great. Love the busts of significant people and the stained glass.
