★★★★☆ (4/5) Sal’s Authentic New York Pizza has generous-sized slices with a nice crispy-yet-chewy crust, and the cheese and sauce were enjoyable. The pizza definitely feels filling and has that classic New York-style look. That said, I wasn’t a big fan of the pepperoni. The flavour wasn’t really to my taste, and I found it a bit overpowering compared to the rest of the pizza. The garlic knot was also a little disappointing—it looked good but was lacking in garlic and seasoning, so it tasted quite plain. Overall, it’s still a solid pizza spot with good portion sizes, but I’d probably try different toppings next time and hope the garlic knot has a bit more flavour.

We ate here twice during our sydney trip. We had their pizza to-go and they got our order wrong but it was okay since the pizza was delicious! We went back a second time, this time we dined-in. They finally got our order right. Service was just okay, the tables weren’t cleaned very well. Garlic knots were okay. Their pizza especially the cheese they used was the highlight imo. We’ve tried different pizza spots here in Sydney during our visit and this has been the best one we’ve tried so far.

We recently ordered from Sal’s Authentic New York Pizza - Darlinghurst for an office lunch, and it was a huge hit with everyone🍕 The pizzas were massive, the size was big as anything, which made them perfect for sharing with the team. The base was thin and beautifully crunchy, just like a proper New York-style pizza should be. Every bite tasted so fresh and delicious. I tried the cheese and vegetarian pizzas, and the veg one was absolutely amazing full of flavour and perfectly balanced. My colleagues had the pepperoni pizza, and they couldn’t stop raving about it. Overall, everyone loved the pizza, and it made our office lunch extra special. Next time, I’d definitely love to visit the store in person and try some fresh slices straight from the oven! Highly recommend for group lunches or casual get-togethers 👏👏👏

I’m a native New Yorker and this is the closest to a taste of home I can get in Australia. It is absolutely authentic New York pizza, and better yet, authentic Long Island pizza. As in New York, a fresh pie will beat out the slices in the window, but even those slices, with the real New York pepperoni and meatball, beat out the majority of pizza in Australia. An added bonus is the real deal buffalo wings - finally, a place that knows you can’t just dump Frank’s on chicken wings and call them buffalo wings. Now, if only I could work out how to get a fresh pie to the Central West…

Delicious light and crispy crust! Great service too. I knew it was good because we saw 10 uber eats bikes picking up when we went past. Highly recommended
