My partner and I contacted SASH late at night in an emergency, desperately trying to find cat blood for our critically ill cat. The male receptionist confidently told us that SASH had multiple types of cat blood available, which was the only response we received from the clinics we contacted. Based on this information, we immediately drove 20–30 minutes across Sydney, only to arrive and be told by the veterinary team that this information was incorrect. This wasted precious time, fuel, and most importantly, valuable minutes during a critical situation for our cat. I want to sincerely acknowledge the veterinary staff, who were exceptional (I'd give them 5 stars! and they're the only reason this review is getting 2 stars as it is). They were professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help us. They explained all options clearly, contacted other clinics to help us find a solution, and discussed the possibility of a dog blood transfusion with full transparency around risks, costs, and expectations. However, I was extremely disappointed by the receptionist’s response when we raised the mistake. He was dismissive, unapologetic, and showed no understanding

The care and professionalism in this business from the front desk to the vets, carers and entire crew has always been of the most highest quality. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances this has been another visit with another dog, but there's nowhere else I've felt more at ease besides my own vet, knowing she was in great hands. Thank you to the whole team again for the care given. Maggie's doing well with her new left knee.

Absolutely the best vets I have ever been to so quick and thorough I know my girls are in the best hands here… we travel 2hrs to see the exotics team and will continue doing so, Janet has been amazing especially with one of my bunnies who has had a tough few months with her health. Thankyou SASH

Our Golden Retreiver visited Sash recently. The staff there are extremely professional and genuinely caring for both animal patient and human parent. We were given options, continually advised of cost and potential risk of each proposed pathway for recovery. All avenues were taken to eliminate the issue before recommending a surgical procedure. The eventual procedure was very successful. The facility is as sophisticated and as clean as a human hospital. The staff and vets have an excellent system of communication before, during and post procedure. Thanks front desk staff, behind the scenes team and Dr Sophie at SASH Tuggerah and North Ryde. I felt supported and appreciated the professionalism of both the nurse who triaged my dog Ruby & the emergency vet who diagnosed her Shaker Syndrome condition. The communication about her diagnosis was excellent & we felt Ruby was in the very best care. Thank you SASH.
