This company informed me that because I live in Maroubra, my security deposit would be doubled. From $500 to $1,000. As you can imagine, I was furious and immediately cancelled the booking. Unbelievable. The only reason I chose them in the first place was because they’re located right next door to my company warehouse in Auburn.

Terrible experience with Save Rent A Car and Truck – Avoid at all costs! Had a very disappointing experience with this company. Amanda, the lady we dealt with, was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. The car they gave us looked like it came from a wreckage yard — the bumper was damaged, and there were scratches all over the body. We were charged for 3 full days, and Amanda never informed us that the rental was actually valid until 9:00 AM of the 4th day. But she told us to return it by 4:30 PM on the 3rd day close of business hours. Because of this, we had to cut our plans short just to return the car on time — very inconvenient and unfair. As a result, we had to leave our Hunter Valley trip early, even though we had paid $40 per person for park entry (total $250) — money wasted because we couldn’t enjoy the full experience. To make things worse, they asked $200 for cleaning, even though the car was returned clean inside. The only thing on it was minor road dust on the side of tyres, which is completely normal for any car being driven on public roads. The young smart, efficient, honest female staff who served us was very great. She explained everything upfront. There was no hidden agendas which was really great!! Even the other staff was extremely great what they promised they honoured. We were quite satisfied. Thanks indeed for the great, excellent service. We will definitely come back to you. This was the young efficient female staff & the other male staff who really helped us. Cheers👍🏾🙂🙋‍♀️

WORST rental company i have ever encountered. TERRIBLE customer service, careless staff, they’ll take more money than is necessary and even charge from your card without permission first and without telling you after. They’ll charge you an incredible amount of money (over a thousand dollars) for minor scratches (see photo attached) that cost even more than the renting fee. and that’s while you have already paid an initial insurance fee. on top of that, charging from your card without even asking first or even notifying you afterwards, is basically stealing. i didnt know they had already taken $400 from my card without asking, so when i asked to pay they added another $145 to the charges because ‘we found another scratch’. another even more minor scratch that is not only barely visible but does not affect the car’s functions in any way at all. a few scratches does NOT cost $1045. this is a scam. this is robbery. if you don’t want to be scammed and lose thousands of dollars, don’t rent from this company!!!!! ❌❌ they do not explain things clearly, they do not ask you before taking money from your card, and they charge unnecessarily large amounts for tiny scratches. 😡 i hope there w
