I saw their ad on their building "$29 per day All you pay". I tried to book online and the cheapest I could find that came up for my date was $40.37. Still a great price but more than their ad says. So I called them. On the phone the price had now increased to over $50. Still a good price. But then they said because I live interstate that price doesn't count. I pointed out that I don't live interstate, just out of Sydney. She said it still counts. So now I need to pay an EXTRA $1000 deposit because reasons. I can't possibly deal with these prices increases every time they open their mouth. The stupid thing is, if their ads said "from $50, deposit required" I still would have rented. I just won't put up with this bait and switch. It makes them appear so shonky, even if they are not.

Unreliable as previous reviews stated. Allows you to book a car but you need a confirmation email sent to you to secure a vehicle. I booked one the day before for 8am pickup and I received no confirmation or denying email or any form of communication. I had to personally call to see if I had a car or not for my day at 8am itself. I got hold of someone who said they need to check if they have a car. 20 mins later I finally received an email to that canceled my request. Why allow us to book a car when nothing available? Went with another provider instead.

Unreliable, expensive, dirty car I have to say that this rental was my worst of all. When we arrived there at the reservation time, nobody was there. We needed to call them. They told us to wait 10 minutes for someone to come, but in reality we were waiting almost an hour. Thus we had to reschedule our trip because of that. They keep demanding for a proof of residence like electricity bills. How is that possible if you are a tourist? After a lot of discussion for about 3 calls, the staff insisted that we still had to give them proof of address of where the car is staying etc.. Don't they have a GPS tracker? At last we were able to send them only a booking confirmation of a hotel. Why didn't they mentioned it in the first place. If you want to travel over 100km/day, they will charge you additional $20/day. As a tourist, it is not ideal. It might be more expensive then other car rental agents cause they don't have the limitation of distance. The car that they give you is also very dirty from the outside and inside. I think it was never really cleaned properly. The tank cap was never cleaned since day one I think. (photos) Unable to return the rental on weekends. We had to return

I needed a car for a few days and the staff at Save Rent A Car made the whole process very smooth and enjoyable. Within 20 minutes the paperwork was done and I was able to drive away in a virtually brand new car. Rates are very competitive. Thoroughly recommended!
