The food was pretty decent. We tried the rose and spicy tteokbokki, fried chicken, sides and dumplings. Everything was tasty. However, the service was my main gripe. We arrived without a reservation and were seated at the bar stools, unsure if the service would be different from the main dining area. Frankly, it felt rushed and impersonal. We ordered via QR code web ordering, which always feels cheap. For minor things like extra cutlery or napkins, we had to go to the main counter, since the staff were too busy or just not attentive. When I tried to order an extra beer after the server brought our food, they simply said sorry, we can’t add to the tab. You need to use the QR system. While the food was good, the service was on par with a good McDonald’s – online ordering and using the counter for help. Also, half the drinks on their online menu are sold out. Most causal restaurants had at least basic table serve.

We were in the city and while heading back wanted to have Korean dinner. We don’t eat beef or pork so finding a Korean restaurant that has variety of chicken dishes is a tough ask. My daughter found this and we decided to go visit. This is definitely one of the best places we’ve been to in a while. Awesome ambience, great service and even greater food. Loved the spicy chicken stir fry and the bibimbap. The complementary side dishes were very tasty and they refill those as needed. Quite good options with the drinks too. We were a group of 5 and ended up paying about $130 for the meal including a drink each. Only problem is finding a good parking spot. Most nearby paid spots are either closed on weekend or close by 7pm. We had to struggle a bit for finding a spot but can’t blame the restaurant for that. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a Korean dinner.

A good spot for reasonably priced Korean food in Chatswood. The soy garlic fried chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. Seafood pancake was crispy, thick and packed with shallots and small shrimps, beef rib stew was very flavourful too.

One of the best spots for Korean fried chicken 🍗! The chicken was super juicy, perfectly crunchy, and covered in flavourful sauce 😋. The Sweet and Spicy was just right - not too sweet, not too spicy 😌. The Creamy Onion was something different: tangy and full of onion goodness 🧅. Definitely add the extra rice cakes - they’re crispy outside, soft and chewy inside ☺️. The seafood pancake was also packed with flavour and had that satisfying crunch 😁. Portions are big, so expect leftovers 😮! Service was quick - you order from a QR code at the table and pay at the counter when you’re done 🙏. Staff were really polite and happy to help 😊. The place has warm, cosy vibes with nice lighting, perfect for a relaxed meal 👍.

Seocho-dong in Chatswood does some seriously crispy fried chicken. I tried both the bone-in and boneless options. The bone-in was juicier, but the boneless is easier to eat, so it depends on your preference. The Creamy Jalapeño flavour was my standout — perfectly cooked, super crispy, and packed with flavour. The Soy Garlic was decent, but not my favourite. The chicken could’ve had a slightly better meat-to-batter ratio, especially for the boneless, but it’s still very enjoyable. Overall, a solid spot for crispy, flavourful chicken, well worth a visit if you’re in Chatswood. The vibe is casual and the service was friendly.
