I have been working within Supply Chain management for now over 20 years, and had a relationship with SDE for 15 across multiple consultants. However, they have turned into high-pressure, non exclusive representation, seemingly to waste the candidates time. Case in Point - a publicly advertised role that I did not apply for, I was contacted by the agency. After doing my background research already. I found that the company had solvency issues. After two weeks, the hiring manager was made redundant from the client organization. Despite my hesitation to be represented for this role. After providing this feedback I was told. Sorry that you feel this way. It is clear to me that they do not have the candidate's best interest at heart. They put you forward to multiple companies without exclusivity, and actually act as a bottle neck. Avoid this agency, because they do not their due diligence. Alastair Pennie after this review looked up my LinkedIn profile despite never having a conversation with him. He is complicit in the teams poor behaviour. Despite asking Six degrees not to contact me, And remove me from their database multiple calls were placed to me.
