I've had the chance to shoot here a number of times and it's become one of my favourite studios to work in. The space is huge, with a massive cyclorama that's perfect for both photography and video productions. There's also a separate office and lounge area connected to the studio, complete with a dedicated hair and makeup station, which makes it really easy to keep talent and crew comfortable throughout the day. One thing I really appreciate is how easy the parking is. There are plenty of spaces available, which is a huge bonus compared to many studios closer to the city where parking can be a headache. Dien is incredibly welcoming and always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has what they need. He's genuinely warm, easy to work with, and always looking out for me and my crew whenever we shoot here. The studio also has a great selection of photography strobes and modifiers, plus a growing range of Nanlite video lights and RGB light bars that can be rented at very reasonable prices. Fantastic studio with incredibly supportive staff that have offered advice, hints and tricks when it comes to photoshoots - which brought my shoot to the next level. The fact that the cyclorama was 3 walls instead of 2 meant that I could set up 3 different sets for photoshoots and save myself a lot of time on set up and dismantling things. Having air conditioning, rest spaces and the wide variety of equipment available made it an incredible space to be creative and bounce ideas off of - would 100% recommend for all photographers.

Dien at Smack Studios was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind! As a new photographer still learning - he made the space so welcoming and provided all essential equipment to use as part of the studio hire! Would highly recommend and book again!

Smack Studios is such an awesome studio space in North-West Sydney. The team and I have booked this space multiple times now and have been very happy using it - from the large cyclorama walls, equipment hire, nearby eateries, and even having the extra areas for crew to chill in when not needed on-set. There's also a coffee van that drops by at the front in the mornings, so that's the cherry on top. Dien, the owner, is consistently so easy to communicate with and has made the process of booking and using the studio a breeze. He’s also provides such professional, creative, and efficient photography services. I have to add that I really appreciate his professionalism, help and advice on production shoots. I'd highly recommend booking his studio space or his services for your next film production or photography project!

Smack studios was a great find in the western Sydney area! The studio space is huge, clean and easily accessible. Day rates are really great value with many equipment inclusions, and Dien was on hand to offer assistance to make the best out our photoshoot experience. We will back soon to shoot again.
