The most professional and knowledgeable dentists in Sydney. Dr Michael and his team are highly experienced and I trust all advice they give. I’ve used their general dentist services, Botox in the jaw for clenching (and a few other places too), whitening and some cosmetic dentistry. The staff make you feel relaxed and at ease if you’re scared too. Highly highly recommend! Thanks to all team members at Smile by Designs!

Growing up was hard for me. I had a big gap in my teeth knocked out more than my confidence. I had a bridge that wasn’t the best standard. The bridge was put in when I was 14 so I grew into a 50 yr old man walking around a child’s bridge. It was disproportionate with my face, my teeth were all in bad condition and my smile wasn’t really a smile. That was until I met Dr Michael Tam. He’s literally changed my life. He designed, carefully, constructively, practically and aesthetically the best smile I could ever want. Now I walk around with my head held high and I smile with true inner confidence. The best dentist I've ever had! After many years of not visiting the dentist (doh), I knew there was going to be a lot of work to do. So I visited four dentists before committing to a comprehensive treatment plan - crowns, filling replacements, the works. This was not going to be inexpensive, so I wanted to get it right. Smile By Design wasn't even on my radar - I only walked in because it's next to Sushi Train where I often get lunch, and I wanted another point of comparison. Best accidental discovery I've made. From that walk-in, Rachel was incredibly professional with excellent energy, and invited me to send my information through for a comparison. Of all the dentists I visited, the follow-up was unmatched - responses within minutes, appointments set up without fuss, even when my end took a while. The connectivity between front of house and the clinical team is superb and genuinely reassuring. They're not just taking calls and scheduling - they understand your case and can navigate your needs across the practice. The facilities are a pleasant surprise. That part of Bondi Junction can feel a little tired, but behind the door it's nicer than every other practice I visited. The

I have been coming to Smile By Design since I was young, and after many years I can confidently say they are truly exceptional. Dr Michael Tam and the entire team consistently go above and beyond to accommodate my needs and make every visit comfortable and stress free. Linda has been lovely as she’s assisting me with my Invisalign journey and Eliza has been taking care of anything I need since I begun to attend the clinic. They are professional, gentle, and genuinely caring. From routine check ups to more involved treatments, I have always felt well looked after and fully informed. The staff are warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, which makes such a difference. I’m so grateful to have found a dental clinic I completely trust.
