Wonderful experience with Solarnova. Maz and his team are reliable and very knowledgeable. We were skeptical with so many companies out there and Solarnova came as a referral from a neighbour. Maz came and quoted for our family home, and being an engineer made my husband and I even more confident in what he recommend to us (worlds apart from others who didn’t come to check or didn’t take time to explain but just pushed things we didn’t need). Have since used them again to do our new build and wouldn’t trust anyone else for solar. Bonus for being a local company on the beaches.

Frustrated. I explained to Maz that we were planning to move from gas heating, hot water and cooking and suggested a bigger battery system is necessary involving heat water pumps, pool heater, multiple air conditioning systems etc but I was sold on a smaller system on the basis of, see how you go as it could be expanded. I also asked for it in a certain spot as we were renovating and needed the space. First install attempt turned up at 5pm on a Friday, 8 hours late. A sign I shouldn't have ignored. I sent them away due to council noise restrictions. On the second attempt I had to go out whilst it was being installed and found that it was positioned not quite where I asked meaning it would interfere with the proposed renovation, which it has. Since then Maz has been almost impossible to get a response from. Ignoring multiple messages and calls. He conveniently forgets the conversations about system size, which is now too small for our requirements and is unwilling to move the system a few inches so we can proceed with our planned renovation. All pre-installation 'promises' have been forgotten. In addition he has been curt and dismissive of my builder who was only trying t

Maz and his team have been superb in getting us setup with a 24kw SigEnergy battery at our home. He spent a lot of time explaining all things battery, the benefits of a VPP, and has also been very quick to respond on issues after sale. It’s probably this last point that I appreciate the most. His price was fair and quality of install top notch (especially as I am a self proclaimed fussy customer). Thoroughly recommend!

I have been working with Maz for a number of years. First installing 24x panels on my roof for a solar only system and more recently 3 years later with a retrofitted 13.3kw battery system. Maz put the design together and had always allowed for it to be upgraded later on once battery prices came down. Always goes above and beyond to ensure you have the right system at a competitive price.

Lily & Maz are a great team! We felt comfortable from the very beginning - with clear communication at every stage. Installation was quick & efficient. Even months after install Maz followed up to ensure we were getting the best rate from our electricity suppliers. I am really happy with this whole experience & would highly recommend them.
