20260716- ★★★★★ Bondi Beach truly lives up to its world-famous reputation. We were amazed by how incredibly clean and well-maintained the beach is. The golden sand stretches for miles, yet we hardly saw any seaweed washed ashore—a refreshing surprise compared to many beaches around the world. Even on a cool, cloudy and windy day, the turquoise water and rolling waves created a spectacular view. The Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk offers breathtaking lookout points, making it a wonderful place for a leisurely stroll, photography, or simply sitting down to enjoy the sound of the ocean. The facilities are excellent, the surroundings are spotless, and the entire area feels safe and welcoming. Whether you’re coming to swim, surf, walk, or simply admire one of Australia’s most iconic coastlines, Bondi Beach is an absolute must-visit. It is winter and it is cold, yet we thoroughly enjoyed brief visit here and would happily return. Highly recommended! 🌊🏖️

Very busy beach throughout the day. It has a lot of cafes and restaurants around. Lot of activities to choose from. Many pools around to enjoy swimming if doesn't want to go into the ocean.

South Bondi Beach is part of the world famous and iconic Australian Bondi beach. Surfers congregate on their boards while onlookers sit on the sand or else up on a grassy park. Excellent place to sit back with a picnic or just people watch. And the surfers are some of the best you’ll ever see. Highly recommend

This beach offers a lively yet relaxed vibe, with people surfing, exercising, socializing, and enjoying the coastal lifestyle. The mix of locals and visitors, along with the surrounding cafés and walking paths, creates a fun and chill environment. Personally, I think, Bondi Beach more valuable as a social and cultural experience than as a purely scenic destination.

At south Bondi Beach look out for the recently installed bronze statue of local girl Pauline Menczer who was Women's World Champion for Professional Surfing in 1993. Other famous local surfers include Cheyne Horan, Richard Cram and Rod 'Kerrbox' Kerr. Great photo opportunity to remember your visit to Bondi Beach.
