About Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic Surry Hills
SCV is Dr Sam’s vision for what a family vet & animal hospital should be. We continually invest in technology and education from overseas to bring to our four clinics, the cutting edge of care. Our commitment to service is backed up by a hand selected staff of people who are passionate about our vision. We’re proud to be part of our communities and so we established Project HoPe to look after the medical and surgical needs of Sydney’s most vulnerable companion animals- the pets of the homeless. We provide crisis accommodation to the owners of these pets when they require hospitalisation themselves. Come and meet the team and have a tour of the central Sydney vet clinic we are so proud of.

Genuinely one of the best places you can take your beloved pet to. The staff always go above and beyond and have treated our little fur family member with so much love and care that he’s never afraid to step in. From the vets, to the nurses and the admin, every team member deserves a HUGE shoutout.

Our first visit to Southern Cross Vet was excellent. Dr Rob was personable, knowledgeable, and patient, clearly explaining everything and even illustrating on paper. He offered treatment options for our sick dog starting with the most affordable, and we felt his advice genuinely prioritised our dog’s care over profit. The follow-up phone call and text to check on progress were a nice touch. Highly recommended.

The team are outstanding and always provide the highest level of care at an affordable price. They even gave my dog Jasper a signed get well toy after his dental procedure (which he loves) and messaged to check in on him that night and the following day. I highly recommend them.

The team are so accomodating and they try to help with payment plans to help with costs. They are very supportive and very professional with a genuine commitment to help all they can. I can’t thank them enough. They are truly humane people. Also they can come to you n pick up your loved ones. Awesome work always. They took great care of my Gingee Ningee.

Amazing vet and great shuttle service! Accidentally reviewed the St Peter’s one instead of Surry Hills, but fact stands that Marc the concierge driver is awesome! Felt very safe and comfortable each time me and my dog rode with him. (Photo of our little Teddy)
