We had a really enjoyable dinner here while visiting Barangaroo. The venue has a relaxed waterfront atmosphere that works well for couples or even a quiet catch up with friends. The whole experience felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive without feeling over the top or performative. They seemed aware of when we were ready to order, checked in naturally throughout the evening, and prepared and cleaned the table properly before we sat down. We were also given a nice table closer to the water which added to the overall experience. Food came out hot, fresh and well paced, with no long gaps between dishes. We ordered the dal tadka, dal Bukhara, chicken tikka, garlic naan, papadams and rice. Everything was tasty, comforting and full of flavour without feeling too heavy. The staff were also helpful in explaining some of the dishes on the menu which we appreciated. Overall, it felt like a restaurant focused on creating a genuinely good dining experience rather than just turning tables quickly. Would happily return next time and rate it out favourite Indian dining experience in Sydney.

I ate entirely vegetarian. But the cooking here is so confident, I’d send any non-veg guest without hesitation. The tandoori broccoli had real char and smoke; paneer butter masala was slow, balanced, not sweet; the dal makhani β€” velvety, patient. Flatbreads hot and blistered. If the vegetarian dishes have this much depth, the lamb cutlets and Goan fish curry will sing. The view (Darling Harbour at sunset) is genuinely stunning. Service knows the menu cold. Acoustics work even on a packed Friday. One of the few harbour-view restaurants where technique doesn't bow to real estate. Price matches quality. Bring a date, a client, or just your appetite β€” regardless of what you eat.

Fantastic non-veg platter starter. The plain rice and Tadka daal was very good too. The saffron rice and desi bakri fish was good but not too great. Gulab jamun was top class. Ritwik our server was super efficient and guided us towards the right order. Definitely would come back.
