We always enjoy the street food at Taj. Our favourites are bhel puri and pav bhaji, and we also love the other food there, everything is so tasty! My partnerβs favourite is the rasmalai. The people there are always so welcoming and friendly. We usually take away some desserts from the counter as well, and we especially love the kaju katli.

Noodles and manchuri was good. We had also ordered naan and kofta curry. Naan was nice but curry completely gave garam masala taste and kofta was like dry baji. It was not good. Pani puri was nice. Overall I would rate them 7/10. And kofta curry I would rate 4/10. Rest everything was nice.

Went for lunch with a small group from work and was amazing - one of the best tasting biryanis I've eaten, so many different spices fighting for prominence it was like each mouthful was a new experience - my colleagues loved their meals too, with one already planning on what she's having the next four or five visits... Hadn't looked fully at the menu beforehand (just got distracted by all the paneer, love paneer) and didn't realise it was 100% vegetarian but it's not like that matters one bit when it comes to a good curry (for me at least, the flavours are the spices, the meat is just texture, and, as I mentioned, plenty of paneer to pick from too) but I think the vegetarians in our group were happy they had so much to pick from for a change (as someone who does favour meat, they're choices are a bit of an afterthought most work lunches I pick...). Absolutely loved it though and will definitely be back - staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming and we were checked up on that we had everything we needed. I'd say the only downside is I was so full I couldn't get anything from the delicious looking array of sweets afterwards.. (so, definitely need to head back). Have been to a lo

We discovered this lovely vegetarian Indian restaurant yesterday while walking around Surry Hills and it was a great surprise! We were drawn in by the beautiful display of Indian sweets and decided to try a few. The service was excellent, the staff kindly explained the differences between the pastries, including ingredients and prices. We chose a mixed selection and enjoyed it with a delicious masala chai. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. The restaurant is also very nice : clean, spacious, and well designed. The prices looked very reasonable too. Weβll definitely come back to try their menu for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!
