The food at The Apollo is 11 out of 10 perfection! I had their famous saganaki which was so delicious, the texture and taste AMAZING! The oven baked lamb shoulder was beautifully cooked for hours, so tender and juicy. The roast potatoes another winner - crispy and crunchy. Portions were generous. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive staff. Because the restaurant is always full, reservations are highly recommended.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Sydney. The service and customer care were outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we were well looked after throughout our visit. The food was delicious, even though it felt quite Australianised. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great music, amazing cocktails and delicious food. We had a wonderful lunch at The Apollo's Gin & Jazz event. We opted for the set menu, which proved to be an excellent decision β€” a generous, convivial spread perfectly suited to the relaxed, share-style spirit of the restaurant. Our group identified the following highlights: the gin cocktail, the saganaki, bubbling and golden, the tuna crudo, the black-eyed beans, and the slow-cooked lamb shoulder, fall-apart tender and deeply flavoured. Every dish was delicious. The Soundcliff Jazz Trio were sensational. It was such an awesome afternoon that we made another booking!

We visited on a Monday evening for my husband's birthday dinner without a booking and were pleasantly surprised that Kieran was able to accommodate a table for four. He gave us a warm welcome and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. Our table server was equally attentive throughout the evening, checking in regularly without being intrusive. We chose the $110 banquet menu and thoroughly enjoyed every course. The salad was fresh and crisp, the pita bread with the dips was absolutely delicious, and the standout for us was the lamb, which was so tender it simply melted in your mouth. Everything on the banquet was well prepared and full of flavour. Combined with the excellent service, it made for a wonderful birthday celebration. Thank you to the team for helping make my husband's birthday dinner so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

OK - what can I say about this place other than it is an AMAZING restaurant? I came here with colleagues for a dinner and we got the super Greek set. The pita bread was freshly made and the hummus was delicious, the olives were alright - I have to admit I’m not much of an olive person but my colleagues enjoyed them. Saganaki was good, although it cools down rapidly after taking it out of the pan, so eat it quick! King prawn was done very well, and the chicken souvlakia was tender and well marinated! The lamb shoulder was also a delightful dish, very tender and melts in your mouth. Roast potatoes were good too, crispy on the outside which is what I enjoy. What I loved the most is the orange portokolopita which is an absolute treat - I’d never had anything like this before and thoroughly enjoyed myself. For 90 per pax I think it’s a good value for the amount and quality of food you get. The service was also very good, the staff were attentive and helpful. One thing I’d like to say is that unfortunately while the food and service was good, the food took a very long time to arrive between each dish. If they can get the timing a little faster that would make the whole experience
