I wanted to share some feedback about the booking experience, which unfortunately was disappointing. I spent about 40 minutes on the phone discussing treatment options and arranging a suitable time for a couple’s treatment for my husband and me. We agreed on the treatments and confirmed a 16:00 appointment. However, the day before the visit I was contacted again and asked which treatments we wanted, and was offered a completely different time (11:00 instead of 16:00). As a result, I had to spend another 20 minutes going through the treatment options again and rearranging our day to fit the new time, which was quite inconvenient. I hope the spa can review its booking process to avoid this situation for future clients, as it created unnecessary stress before what should have been a relaxing experience.

While staying at the hotel I enjoyed the velvet experience package. 3 hours of relaxation, pampering and pure bliss. The massage was simply the best I’ve ever experienced and the facial left my skin glowing and hydrated. The staff are amazing. Exceptional customer service, friendly and highly knowledgeable. The products are also fantastic even on my sensitive, dry and mature skin.

The spa facility needs to be cleaned and refurbished. The reception area was incredibly busy and the two front of house staff were very stressed. When attending a spa, one expects a relaxed welcome and nice fragrances, but this was not that. We booked in for treatments in a couples room, specifically to have use of the shower to get ready for an event immediately afterwards. The hotel charges a surcharge but then we were told we couldn’t use the shower, then that changed but we were provided with pool towels, no toiletries and no hairdryer. We opted not to use the shower as it was filthy. The spa served awfully tasting sparkling wine in plastic flutes (?!). There wasn’t a nice fragrance anywhere in the spa. The actual treatments were relaxing and nice. The therapists were professional and serene, thankfully.

Donna goes above and beyond to ensure a smooth and individualised treatment for every guest/ customer. I was impressed by her professionalism and dedication to her craft! True perfectionist and seems to take a lot of pride in her work and she is exceptionally good at it! I had a blissful deluxe manicure and pedicure where I fell asleep and woke up feeling refreshed, scrubbed to perfection! Thanks so much for such a wonderful experience!

I’m surprised by the low reviews of this spa. I had a great experience here, which was similar to the Chuan Spa at Langham Melbourne. I admit the spa rooms are small and there’s not many of them here (4-5?) so booking in advance is definitely required. It’s also right next to the massive famous pool so it’s understandable if you hear kids playing about if your spa reservation is on the weekend or during the afternoon where the pool is the busiest. My booking was at 3pm on the weekend and honestly with the ambient music inside the room I didn’t hear that much noise. The facial was fantastic and added bonus is that I didn’t realise it came with an extended head/scalp massage which was so good. Change rooms/showers were also small I admit but clean. The staff and service was excellent everybody was very soft spoken and polite and I enjoyed the nuts and health juice afterwards. The prices are pretty steep for your average facial/massage but once you consider that it’s part of Langham Hotels, it’s par for the course compared to other hotel spas. I’ll probably return for a special occasion.
