Came to Mathologists for a holiday course, and Michael broke down the topics into very digestible pieces. From always asking if we have any questions, to his willingness to explain concepts in a different way, Michael genuinely tries to ensure we understand all the concepts + why they work. He also knows exactly what kind of silly mistakes students tend to make (somehow he keeps pointing out the mistakes i make a lot, like how does he always know??). So it is really nice when he explains what you absolutely should NOT do and how to avoid doing those things. I’ve learnt calculus and binomial theorem at school before, but it never stuck. Here, Mathologists split their booklets into question types and clearly indicate the steps you should take to have cohesive working out, as well as what to look for in the question before you approach it. So this time, i can finally approach calculus and binomials questions strategically, as well as point out what question types i need more practise for. The best part is that once you start getting confident in your ability to answer a particular question type, they spring a mindbending befuddling question to show you how simple concepts can evolv

Highly recommend Mathologists!!!! Very experienced teachers (Jash the king just made calculus AND binomials as easy as addition and subtraction)! Also provide high-quality material -- everything you need for the 99.95!!!!

This is the best tutoring place I have found after going to multiple different centres. All the teachers are amazing and it is a great environment to learn in. Michael is my teacher and has given me so much knowledge as well as tricks to help me achieve a better understanding and results.

I’ve had such a great experience with this math tutoring centre, the teaching quality is amazing, and the environment is really supportive and encouraging. A special shoutout to Michael, he explains concepts in a way that makes them so easy to understand and actually apply to exam questions. The way he delivers the content just makes everything click, even topics that used to feel really difficult. I improved my mark significantly from my HSC Math AT1 to AT2, which I’m really proud of, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without his help. I also feel way more confident approaching different types of questions now. Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their skills and confidence!

I really enjoyed my time at The Mathologists! They have a friendly and chill environment, and their small classes definitely make it easier for one on one interactions and questions. I really enjoy their style of teaching, and it allows me to understand the content easily while not being stressful unlike other tutoring centres I’ve been to. Pahul is an amazing teacher who knows many tricks about HSC marking which I found really useful. He’s also really chill and funny xD
