Hesitated to go here given the frequent bad reviews but as the dr I was going to see wasn’t mentioned I tried it. I’ve been pretty disappointed with how it’s all gone. They just seem to not really be very detailed or care. For example if weird symptoms on the medication come up they just don’t respond to enquiries so we are left to try and figure out what to do on our own. At a time when you need at least a short reply with advice you don’t get that here. Even if what you’re going here for is pretty generic that doesn’t mean the experience on medication will be easy. Especially if they have missed some other stuff happening in the first appointment which is likely given how not in depth they go. There seems to be huge delays between when reception staff forward your question on to the dr and then another delay or just no reply from drs. If I had my time again I think I’d research what drs in Sydney specialise in what I want help with and then see if they have a website or Instagram talking about that issue to show they are experts and then book in with them. linic. In hindsight, I’m glad I didn’t proceed. Prior to the scheduled appointment there was no confirmation call, no email with questionnaires, and no information about what to expect. When the receptionist contacted me afterwards, I was offered a “quick assessment” over the phone for the full fee, which raised some concerns for me. I chose to forfeit my deposit and book elsewhere. The difference in process was immediate; I received detailed intake forms and a request for preliminary bloodwork, which felt far more thorough and reassuring. While others may have a different experience, this was enough for me to decide to seek care with a clinic whose assessment process felt more comprehensive.

I am extremely concerned about the care I received from Dr Osman Malik, Dr Candice Jansen, and Dr Farzan Mehta here withouteven meeting them. I am a high-risk patient with treatment-resistant depression and prior ketamine treatment, yet I received no clinical assessment or risk evaluation. My GP also contacted the clinic on my behalf this week, providing detailed medical history. Despite this, I was denied any appointment or assessment. Information from the clinic was inconsistent throughout the last 4 weeks first I was told only outpatient treatment was possible, then today inpatient for 3 weeks, but no actual treatment or risk management was provided. This demonstrates a failure to follow proper procedures and raises serious concerns regarding duty of care and patient safety. Patients in high-risk situations should never be denied assessment or treatment without documentation or clinical evaluation, however i was with no reason in writing given. I have made complaints to the HCCC, struggling for over 1 year plus and has been suicidal asking for help, has continually been blocked from any treatment. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr.Malik at TSC. Hud expertise and knowledge is second to none, but it’s his approach which really stood out to me. He really listens, and therefore gains an excellent understanding of the patient & their context. As a result, his treatment is accurate & effective. In addition, he’s kind, has a high level of empathy & respect for the patient. I throughly recommend Dr.Malik and greatly appreciate his care.

I went to the Sydney Clinic for detox, and I have to admit, I was terrified of messing up while I was there. Addiction can make you feel like every mistake is the end of the road, but the approach at this clinic completely changed that for me. Their new way of supporting people struggling with addiction is truly remarkable. The nurses and facilitators are incredible—they treat you with compassion, patience, and genuine care. They don’t just focus on the detox process; they make you feel supported emotionally and mentally as well. Even when I stumbled, they didn’t judge or kick me out. Instead, they helped me get back on track and encouraged me to keep going. This place doesn’t just help you detox—it gives you hope and the tools to start rebuilding your life. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Sydney Clinic to anyone seeking recovery. The care, understanding, and respect I received there made a huge difference in my journey.

Its ridiculous, the way they treat people is not the best, i called they give me appoitment and i was waiting 30 minutes and still no one is calling me, the medical center is soo busy and we heart a fight arround as between two staff, No coordination between staff and i believe they want to focus more with quantity not quality so they promote their offers through social media and they hire more clients with no good service quality . The doctor came saw my tatto instead of telling me which kind of machine they will use for my tatto lazer removal she just send another agent to tell me the price, no details nothing just money , so i spoke up saying that its not possible and this way is not the right way to treat a customer. I honestly don't recommend , they dont take care of you they care about how much they take from you

I’ve been attending the day program at the Sydney Clinic for 8 weeks. The therapists are amazing but the food and hospitality is atrocious. I was waiting to leave a review but I’ve now been there for 2 months now and it’s consistently bad. It’s all processed, cheap, unhealthy rubbish. The lunch today was a single slice of greasy pizza with fries. Week after week it is awful. Nutrition is a huge part of healing, it’s incredibly ironic we’re paying exorbitant money to learn to look after ourselves while they feed us ultra-processed junk food. Not only was it not enough food, but when I asked if I could have a second piece they said no. How are we supposed to spend 6 hours in therapy, giving THOUSANDS to this place per year, and they give us tiny portions of food you’d expect to find in a low-grade fast food joint. The outside seating area we are allocated is also consistently dirty and no one ever seems to clean it. Our therapist has been working on a whiteboard on the floor because it was taken down 3 weeks ago and still hasn’t been put back up. Very poor reception experience. Alex kept pushing buttons on the keypad when I spoke the whole time and when I asked if they could process my referral before 7 days she said they are not emergency department. Perhaps reception staff should be more courteous and do training to ensure they aren’t the ones causing problems for people
